EFI stands for Efficiency Factor Impact.
Your EFI Score is a rating assigned to how biomechanically
efficient you are while completing a specific task.
In other words, how well you use your body to get the job
done.
Why is it important to be biomechanically efficient?
Our bodies are the most important tool we use.
As with any tool, hard use causes wear and tear, and improper
use can cause devastating breakdowns or failures.
Improving biomechanical efficiency improves performance,
longevity and decreases the risk of breakdowns or failures.
How does that apply to me?
As a serious athlete, you work hard, train hard and play hard.
If you have an imbalance or weakness that causes you to be
less biomechanically efficient you have a higher risk of injury.
Knowing your EFI Score, how it is calculated and how to
positively impact it, gives you the information you need to become a
stronger, more consistent, physically healthier athlete.
How do I get my EFI Score?
JZZ Technologies, Inc. has created a system called E-Factor that
evaluates biomechanical efficiency.
It works by placing sensors on your body which are connected
to a computer. The
sensors record change in position while you complete your chosen
task. Then the software
calculates your efficiency based on biomechanical norms.
The system also provides you a breakdown of the muscle groups
that need attention by providing a list of exercises that can help.
Are you comparing me to other athletes?
No. This is not a
technique based system.
Therefore, there are no comparisons to other athletes in your sport.
I’ve got my EFI Report with my EFI Score, now what?
Now that you’ve had your assessment done, you need to find a coach,
health or fitness professional to help you address the limitations
identified in the report.
Use the information in the report to create a training or
rehab program specific to your needs.
After a few weeks you can get another assessment to track
your progress.
"With
this revolutionary new equipment we are witnessing a seismic shift
in understanding how the human body actually functions and performs.
This seismic shift will trigger a worldwide "Training and
Performance Tsunami" for brilliant and record breaking human
performances!".
